Our Values

The way we choose to be in the world and in sound

At ParPer, we don't see values as a list that is written down once and hung on a wall. We see them as something that is practised every day, when the workshop is quiet, when the metal has not yet been struck, when no one is watching and you still decide to do it right, with care and respect.

This is not just a nice speech. It is simply, and nothing more or less, the way we experience the process, the work and every instrument that is created here.

Conscious craftsmanship

We do not seek to produce in quantity or fill shelves. We seek to create instruments that last, that age well, that accompany those who play them for years and continue to respond with dignity and presence.

Listening attentively

We hear the metal when it vibrates, when it resists and when it opens up. We hear the note, the harmonics and also the silence that lingers after the strike.

But above all, we listen to people.

Each person arrives with a different intention, a different story, different tastes and a unique way of relating to sound, and for us that is essential. That is why we do not work with fixed formulas or identical instruments: each piece is adapted to the person who is going to play it, not the other way around.

Honest sound

We do not alter the sound or force it to sound like something it is not. We do not promise miraculous effects or results that we cannot sustain over time.

We tune with a view to achieving stability, balance and harmonic richness, so that the instrument responds today and continues to respond for many years to come. An honest sound does not need to impose itself: it remains, accompanies and allows itself to be inhabited.

And almost always, when heard in person, it reveals even more than it seemed. We record everything with our mobile phones and do not edit it in any way. Furthermore, over time, if the instrument is played, you can notice that it gains sound and vibration.

Time and presence

Each piece needs its own rhythm to find its voice, and we respect that process without rushing it. During the manufacturing process, we are present, sharing progress with you in writing, photos and videos, and taking care of every detail, because we know that the instrument does not appear suddenly: it is created and “born” little by little.

Beauty that can be touched and experienced

We believe in beauty that is not just meant to be admired from afar, but to be touched, used and felt. Beauty that accompanies the sound experience rather than overshadowing it.

Every line, every shape and every visual detail has a meaning and a purpose. We don't decorate to impress, we decorate to ensure that the instrument is consistent between what it sounds like and what it looks like. And above all, we take into account what you want.

Respect for origin and creation

We deeply respect those who paved the way before us and those who dedicated their lives to researching sound and form. That is why we do not copy, imitate, or reproduce designs or ideas that do not belong to us.

Our research is based on respect and is transformed into our own creations, into instruments with their own identity and language, made with ethics, consistency and care.

Continuous evolution

Nothing we do is ever closed or finished. We continue to research, test, make mistakes and learn, because sound, like life, is in constant motion.

We observe what happens in music, in the body, in the perception of sound and in the experience of those who play our instruments, and we integrate all of this calmly, without fads or dogmas, just by really listening.

Truly accompany

We do not believe in selling an instrument and then disappearing. We believe in providing support before, during, and after the sale.

Answering questions, providing guidance, being available and present, because we know that when an instrument reaches your hands, nothing ends: that's when the important stuff begins—the connection, the process, and the real experience.

These values are not written to convince you or to please everyone. They are here so that you know who we are and how we choose to do things.
