closed models that are repeated without meaning. Our path has always been, and continues to be, a real evolution, born from research, experience and the need to create an instrument that truly responds to those who play it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">It all started with a simple yet powerful idea: wanting to play a handpan... and not settling for what was already available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">From that search came the fusion between Steel Tongue Drum, Tank Drum and the expressiveness of the Handpan, combining the support, warmth and deep vibration of the tank with the harmonic play and response of the handpan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">That process was not linear. There were trials, errors, changes in form and difficult decisions.\nBut each step led us to a better understanding of how an instrument evolves when it is truly listened to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">And just when things were starting to take shape...\nour note was copied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">With no registration or protection, we had to reinvent ourselves.\nChange the shape. Start from scratch.\nA low blow, yes... but one of those blows that forces you to create something even better and take the necessary security measures, patenting and registering the invention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">From that reinvention came Arcturus, our first model.\nIts shape was no accident: the central note formed an \u2018A\u2019, and when you looked closely, you could also see a feline face, very similar to the panther in our logo.\nSome people say they see a wolf... which always makes us laugh, because Nerea has been called \u2018Mother Wolf\u2019 since she was very young. class=\"translation-block\">When we talk about versions (V1, V2, V3, V4...), we are not talking about marketing or ranges.\nWe are talking about different levels of work in tuning, harmonics and sound complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each version corresponds to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a stage of research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a type of sound experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a different way of relating to the instrument<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">There is no \u2018best\u2019 version for everything.\nThere are versions that are more suitable depending on the use, the moment and the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">And yes: all of them can also be valid for beginners, depending on what you are looking to feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evolution of the instrument<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Our first model was Arcturus, and everything else was developed from there.\nOther models also emerged, such as Cosmos, with a different order of notes but the same tuning versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here we explain the evolution using Arcturus as a reference, because it was with this model that the most significant advances were made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Version 1 (V1) \u2014 The origin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first spark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The central ding is tuned with double crossed harmonics, which adds brightness and depth.\nThe rest of the tones are tuned to the fundamental, with one or two tones incorporating an additional harmonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a stable, warm and very honest version, ideal for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People looking for simplicity with character.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Direct connection with the sound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calm exploration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Version 2 (V2) \u2014 Consolidation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The same spirit, more mature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The central ding maintains the double crossed harmonics, and all other tones incorporate fundamental + one harmonic.\nEach tongue offers more sonic richness and a more expressive response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A balanced version for those who want more depth, without yet reaching the full complexity of the handpan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">Version 3 (V3) \u2014 Complete fusion NEW MUSICAL INSTRUMENT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here the original idea is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">All tones are tuned with double cross harmonics, just like a high-end handpan, and the traditional note order is also adopted.\nAlthough visually three notes are engraved, in reality each tongue generates a broader harmonic set, with natural octave and fifth repetitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This is the version that comes closest to the real experience of playing a handpan,\nbut within the resonant body of a tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A complete, expressive and deeply musical instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">V4 \u2014 The same soul, a different presence NEW MUSICAL INSTRUMENT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The tuning is the same as in the V3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The difference is in the size:\n44 cm in diameter compared to 33 cm in the V3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">More body, more projection, more air vibrating.\nA more enveloping and expansive sensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who each version is for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fewer harmonics \u2192 flatter, more direct, stable and simple sound, percussive<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More harmonics \u2192 more vibration, greater richness of sound and expressiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">But more complex does not mean better for everything.\nIt depends on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>what you are going to use the instrument for<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how you like to play<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>what kind of relationship you want to have with the sound<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Our job is to guide you.\nThe final choice is always yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to choose without getting confused<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You don't have to understand everything from the start.\nSometimes it's enough to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>listen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>feel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>see which instrument calls to you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That's
